Classic, contemporary and avant-garde. Carbon Copy is a platform for showcasing editorials and photo-stories from around the world. It is updated each month online and print issues are released at the beginning or end of the month. The magazine is printed entirely in b/w but with colour covers. Editorials and stories are featured in ‘chapters’ like a book. Each month they featured an international model of the month. December’s Model of the Month is Sam Lawson. Foam Magazine #25/Traces. This issue addresses the way in which the past, by means of photography, manifests itself in the present. This is a special issue, not only because of its captivating theme, but also because, in an additional free supplement, we kick-start What’s Next?, a research and discussion platform on the future of photography in all its aspects. On top of this, Foam Magazine has been redesigned, with another cover, another typeface and several subtle changes in the design.
“Cats actually have good body proportions for clothing, and they’re adorably photogenic,” says Thuy Pham, who with Miho Aoki designs United Bamboo. The duo is bringing its 2011 Cat Calendar, which includes feline models in beaded and sequined gowns, and puffy parkas. Photographed by Noah Sheldon, designed by Studio Lin, the limited edition 12 month calendar featuring beautiful kittens in United Bamboo Ready-to-Wear, on the back of each page, there is a story about each cat model.
