A graduate from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Setareh Mohtarez seeks inspiration from the vast and infinite space system. Her designs, each one resembling a snapshot of the star-spangled galaxy, architecturally molded into a garment. Each of the outfits has colors taken from the rainbow palette, paired with chunky platform heels of a contrasting color to vividly bring out the forms and molded structures of the outfit. The pleats, folds, and creases are so perfectly done, I just cannot imagine how much has gone into creating such beautiful galactic masterpieces! I’m pretty sure Mohtarez is on her way to becoming the next great designer.
