Chinese VISION Mgazine published a special issue in August 2008 and tied in with the 2008 Beijing Olympics, this Vision China issue acted as a completely unbiased Chinese contemporary art & design gallery. Taiwan’s fashion photographer Leslie Hsu “许熙正” shot a wonderful cover and photo story with Chinese superstar Zhou Xun “周迅”, and Zhou donned a special outfit designed by Chinese young fashion designer Xander Zhou “周祥宇”.
The use of VISION CHINA as a theme has resulted in the most diverse collection of stories ever featured in an issue of VISION Magazine. This issue contains 400 pages, ranges from Beijing Faces to Art China, Fashion China and Design China. In the Fashion China section, Chinese young fashion photographer Trunk Xu “许闯” shot a wonderful photo collection for Chinese fashion designers. From start to finish, VISION represents an attack on the traditions of magazine publishing; no other title is capable of offering so many opinions while showing Chinese young artists and designers.
