全新的LOGO，全新的字体和版式设计，从创刊时的Ideas in Design，到新一期的Luxury by Design，1995年创刊的Surface杂志俨然成了一本新刊。如果你长期留意这本杂志，就会发现，自从去年夏天创意总监Matthias Ernstberger加入之后，杂志风格上就已经改变了不少，而这一期的风格基本上是在那次改变的基础上调整，版式的变化不大，主要是换了字体的缘故，一切看上去都是新的。时装大片依旧精彩，这得益于时装总监Linnea Olson-Schwartz和造型总监Gregory Wein的专业用心。这一期的封面模特是加拿大红发女孩Chantal-Stafford Abbott，由摄影师Henrique Gendre拍摄。
