Inspired by traditional British tailoring, the former intern at Alexander McQueen and Antwerp Royal Academy graduate from 2009, SixLee, is presenting his new collection named after a Feist song “We’re all in the Dance”. Clean cuts and sharp lines combined with soft colours and boyish detaills are blend with what Lee calls the “Antwerp aesthetic”. A modern twist of proportions with a futuristic touch on classical tailoring.
SixLee 2012春夏男装系列，均为十分修身的设计，加上拼接混搭，制造出fusion的视觉观感，看上去有点雅痞、有点Dandy。尤其是格纹和拼接表现得无比生动，并带有一种发自内心的不羁的酷，表面上有点怪诞，但让人联想到未来。特别是那副眼镜，有没有让你想起斯坦利·库布里克（Stanley Kubrick）导演的电影《发条橙》（A Clockwork Orange）。设计师称这个系列的灵感源自英式剪裁，概念因为加拿大女歌手 Feist 的一首名为“We’re all in the Dance”的歌曲开始，这首歌曾作为电影《巴黎，我爱你》的片尾曲。
虽然这是 SixLee 推出的第一个系列，但是其驾驭英式剪裁的能力，以及对另类时尚的个性诠释的本事，绝对让人印象深刻，也让人好奇其个人经历。Six Lee 于1983年出生在香港，2009年毕业于安特卫普皇家艺术学院（Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp），并在 Alexander McQueen 男装部实习过。在学校的导师为Nellie Nooren、Patrick De Muynck、Walter Van Beirendonck 和 Dirk Van Saene，在McQueen期间的导师为Daniel Kearns，喜爱的设计师包括Dries Van Noten、Raf SImons 和 Olivier Theyskens。
